Sewing STAR ~ PANTS ~ MONDAYS IN MARCH
4 MONDAY MORNINGS:
MARCH 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd ; 10:00-1:00pm
Sewing STAR~PANTS is an advanced level technique development course which will teach students to build upon the basics outlined in Sewing SURVEY and Sewing SOPHOMORE. In Sewing STAR, students will develop skills relating to a high-waisted wide leg pant, students will learn about pockets, waistbands, sewing a front fly with zipper and more, more, more! Students will be supplied with their own pant pattern the first day of class and will be provided the pattern size they ask for upon check-out online.
We celebrate all levels and with a preferred small class size individual attention will be given to all students, however to be able to attend this course you need to be confident on the sewing machine as well as be able to sew at a good speed and have previous experience of working with dressmaking patterns.
After making your deposit or full-payment enrolled students will be sent a basic supply list for class including up to 3 yards of washed woven fabric (based on pattern size). Students will need to be ready with the woven fabric of their choosing to create their own pants on the first day of class. If you have any fabric questions please email us. You will be asked to choose a PANT Pattern size at checkout. I always suggest to choose the larger measurement - usually your hip measurement. We will be adjusting the size (with fittings) during the making process. If you have any questions do not hesitate to email me : hadleyanneclark@gmail.com.
We do have sewing machines available for students. Although, students can provide their own machine.
**To hold your spot make the $50 Deposit (non-refundable) today. The remaining $200 balance will be due at the first day of class. You are also able to pay the full $250 payment which includes the $50 deposit here online.
*Class is capped at 3 students*
**It is not required to have taken SEWING SURVEY in order to be qualified to take SEWING STAR. However, a basic understanding of patterns, textiles and basic construction is essential.
