Sewing Sophomore is an intermediate level technique development course which will teach students to build upon the basics outlined in Sewing Survey. In SEWING SOPHOMORE, students will develop skills relating to garment construction, fine garment finishing methods, use of a serger, inserting an invisible zipper, sewing a waist band with hook and eye, basic pattern alteration and fittings. We will begin with constructing a muslin of the SKIRT pattern then have a fitting and alter the pattern to fit the student. We celebrate all levels and with a preferred small class size individual attention will be given to all students
We do have machines available for students, although students can to provide their own machine. After making your deposit you will receive an email containing a list of basic supplies needed for class.
**To hold your spot make the $50 Deposit (non-refundable) today. The remaining $200 balance will be due at the first day of class. You are also able to pay the full $250 payment which includes the $50 deposit.

**It is not required to have taken SEWING SURVEY in order to be qualified to take SEWING SOPHOMORE. However, a basic understanding of patterns, textiles and basic construction is essential.
